BEFORE THAT WE ARE MAKING PRAWNS BALL BY ROASTING MASALA AND MIX THE PRAWNS IN THAT. WE DIDN'T FRY THE PRAWNS. BUT IN TEA SHOP (THATTUKADA) I FOUND THAT THEY FRIED THE PRAWNS CRISPY AND THEN PUT IN TO THE MASALA. SO THAT WAY I TESTED, IT WAS SUCCESSFUL AND NOW MY MOTHER ALSO MAKES PRAWNS BALL LIKE THIS.
PRAWNS BALL IS VERY SIMPLE AND EASY RECIPE. YOU CAN MAKE AT ANY TIME. THE INGREDIENTS USED TO MAKE PRAWNS BALL IS HOUSEHOLD ITEMS. SO YOU CAN MAKE IT EASIER WITHOUT ANY PURCHASES. ~ Take a kadai, heat coconut oil, transfer the marinated prawns one by one. Fry all the batches until it turns fried and crispy. Once the prawns fried, remove it from pan and keep aside.
~ In that same oil ( prawns fried oil), add chopped onion and enough salt. Saute well until the onion gets light golden colour.

~ Apply little oil in your palms, take I ball from these. Put it in your left palm and press this ball by using right palms. Then you get a "poori" shaped dough. Then apply 1 or 2 tbsp of prawns masala in the centre. Then cover the masala by folding with each edges and shape ball roundly. Fill all other balls by using these methods
~ Coat the each prawns filled ball with crushed coconut. You can just coat all sides with crushed coconut. It is very nice to see when the ball is coated with crushed coconut.
