CHICKEN LAVA

 CHICKEN LAVA :  

CHICKEN LAVA IS A VARIETY DISH. IT'S REALLY TASTY AND DELICIOUS. IT CAN BE SERVED AS A STARTER. FRIED CHICKEN PIECES ARE STUFFED IN DIFFERENT CHEESE AND SAUCES , AND COMBINED WITH CAPSICUM FRENCH FRIES MIXES. IT TASTES LIKE LITTLE SPICY AND CREAMY. THE FLAVOUR OF CHILLY FLAKES AND CHEESE GIVES US A REAL TASTES LIKE THAT OF  RESTAURANT STYLE.

CHICKEN LAVA

HERE THE CHICKEN IS MARINATED WITH ONLY THREE INGREDIENTS SUCH AS PEPPER POWDER, CORNFLOUR  AND  SOYA SAUCES. THE WELL MARINATED CHICKEN PIECES ARE DEEP FRIED IN A KADAI, WHICH GIVES CRISPY AND SPICY TASTE. ALL PURPOSE FLOUR AND MILK ARE ADDED IN A MELTED BUTTER AND A LITTLE BIT OF PEPPER POWDER, OREGANO, GINGER POWDER, SOYA SAUCE MAKES WHITE SAUCE THICK AND CREAMY. IT'S VERY TASTY BY SERVING THIS LAVA CHICKEN WITH A PIECE OF BUN.

 I GOT THIS RECIPE FROM YOUTUBE, I'M SO MUCH ENTHUSIASED WHILE SEEING THIS RECIPE. THEN NEXT DAY, I PREPARE THIS  CHICKEN LAVA BY FOLLOWING THE YOUTUBE RECIPES. BUT I MAKE SOME CHANGES IN THIS RECIPE. IN YOUTUBE, IT SHOWS THEY ARE MARINATED THE CHICKEN CUBES  ONLY WITH SOYA SAUCE  AND CORN FLOUR. ALSO IN WHITE SAUCE THEY SHOWS THEY ADDED ONLY GINGER POWDER AND SOYA SAUCE. FOR GARNISHING THEY USED CRUSHED CHEETOS BUT HERE I MAKE SOME CHANGES. I MARINATED THE CHICKEN CUBES WITH ADDING EXTRA SPICES - (PEPPER POWDER.) IN WHITE SAUCE I ADD EXTRA POWDER SUCH AS OREGANO AND PEPPER POWDER. INSTEAD OF GARNISHING WITH  CRUSHED CHEETOS  I USED CHILLY FLAKES .

CHICKEN LAVA -- THE NAMES COMES HERE BY THE PROCESS OF MELTING CHEESE WITH WHITE SAUCE, FRENCH FRIES, CAPSICUM AND CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN CUBES. THIS MAKES A SPECIAL FAVOUR AND DELICIOUS TASTE. THIS IS SO SIMPLE AND EASY RECIPE. SO LET'S FOLLOW THE STEPS TO MAKE TASTY  AND CHEESY CHICKEN LAVA.

INGREDIENTS

BONELESS CHICKEN - 500 grm

FRENCH FRIES 

MOZERELLA CHEESE - 1 CUP

CHEDDAR CHEESE SLICES - 8- 10

CHILLY FLAKES -  FOR GARNISHING

CAPSICUM - 1/2 of 1

FOR WHITE SAUCE

BUTTER - 3 tbsp

ALL PURPOSE FLOUR ( MAIDA) - 4 tbsp

MILK - 1 CUP

PEPPER POWDER - 1/4 tsp

GINGER POWDER - 1/4 tsp

SOYA SAUCE - 1 tsp

OREGANO - 1/2 tsp

SALT 

OIL - FOR FYING

FOR RED SAUCE

TOMATO KETCHUP - 3 tbsp

CHILLY FLAKES - 1 tbsp

MAYONNAISE - 1 tbsp

FOR CHICKEN MARINATION

CORN FLOUR - 3 tbsp

SOYA SAUCE - tbsp

PEPPER POWDER - 1/2 tsp

SALT

PREPARATION

Wash and cut the chicken pieces in a cube shape. Marinate the chicken cubes by adding Corn flour, pepper powder and soya sauce. (The soya sauce already contain salt, so if you need you can add salt.) Keep aside for 10 minutes.

Take a KADAI, heat enough oil. Add 1 plate (small plate ) of French fries one by one and fry until it turns crispy and fried. Remove from the oil and keep aside.

In the same oil, transfer all marinated chicken cubes one by one. Fry well until it turn to a light golden brown colour. Keep aside after frying.

Heat a sauce pan, melt 3- 4 tbsp of butter.( If the amount of butter increased, it's taste also increased). Add 4 tbsp of Maida and 1 cup of milk. Stir well until maida powder dissolved in milk. Add pepper powder, soya sauce, oregano, ginger powder and pinch of salt. Then stir well until the mixes turns to a think gravy or creamy texture. Switch off the flame and keep aside.

Take a bowl, add 3 tbsp of Tomato ketchup, 1 tbsp of chilly flakes, 1 tbsp Mayonnaise. Mix well and add the white sauce in it. Then mix well.

STEP FOR LAYERING 

Step 1 :

Take a steel bowl ( it is better to take steel bowl or any other bowl that can use in a steamer)

Step 2 :

Apply 3 tbsp of  white sauce mix inside the steel bowl.

Step 3 :

Add all fried french fries on its top.

Step 4 :

Apply 3 tbsp of white sauce mix to its top.

Step 5 :

Transfer all fried chicken cubes on its top.

Step 6 :

Add finely chopped capsicum.

Step 7 :

Sprinkle MOZERELLA  cheese to its top

Step 8 :

Apply remaining white sauce mix to its top.

Step 9 :

Finally add all cheddar cheese slices to its top one by one and then sprinkle Chilly flakes to garnishing.

Take a steamer and heat it. Once it began to steam, put that steel bowl (which containing cheese and chicken mix) in a steamer and close it with a lid. Let it steam for 5 minutes. (Only you need to melt the cheese )

THE HOT AND SPICY CHEESY CHICKEN LAVA IS READY TO SERVE. YOU CAN SERVE IT WITH BUN OR CUBBOOS.
