PRAWNS ROAST/ CHEMMEEN ROAST ....PARTY SPECIAL

Prawns roast is a popular traditional sea food varieties of Kerala. Keralies are always fond of traditional recipies.  Nowadays most people goes behind fast foods and Chinese foods. But any way, they always have a big eyes for traditional food at any time.

Here, my recipies are quite different. I didn't marinate the prawns before cooking. I just added the prawns into onion spice masala. I have seen most people cooked prawns with water. But here is the easy way that, most of the sea food dishes especially shellfishes have a lot of water in its body it's self and that water is enough for cooking. So if we add water and cook for long time, the prawns became hard like rubber while we eat.

Prawns roast are very tasty, spicy and flavorable to eat. Here the prawns are soaked and well coated in onion spice masala. For getting traditional taste and flavor, prawns are roasted in a ample of coconut oil. Fried curry leaves gives a wonderful aroma to this recipe.
