HERE I USED DIFFERENT SPICES SUCH AS CARDAMON, CINNAMON STICK,CLOVES, DRIED RED CHILLY, BAY LEAVES, CUMIN SEED, FENNEL SEED, BLACK PEPPER CORNS, CORIANDER SEED, SHIA JEERA etc . ALL THESE SPICES ARE ROASTED IN A PAN AND THEN GRIND WELL UNTIL IT TURNS TO A FINE POWDER. IT IS VERY FLAVOURABLE AND AROMATIC. WE CAN USE THESE POWDER FOR FLAVOURING CHICKEN CURRY, BEEF CURRY, EGG ROAST, POTATO CURRY, CHANA MASALA AND ALL VARIETY BIRYANI. YEARS AGO I USED READY MADE BIRYANI MASALA POWDER FOR FLAVOURING CURRIES AND BIRYANI. I LOOKED MANY RECEPI. THEN I TRIED THIS RECIPE BY COMBINING TWO RECIPIES. I THINK THIS MASALA POWDER IS BEST IN ALL CURRIES AND BIRYANI.
INGREDIENTS
Cloves -8
Cardomom-8
Cinnamon stick-4(small)
Star Anise 1whole
Nutmug-3/4
Black pepper corn-1tsp
Coriander seed-3/4tsp
Dried Red chilly-4
Fennel seed-2tsp
Cumin seed-1tsp
Bayleaves -2
Shia jeera - 1/4 tsp
*Heat a nonstickpan
*Roast the above all
spices until the roast smell comes
*Keep this for warm
*Grind this rosted spices to a fine powder
*Keep it in a closed container
